Jonathan Tallon lives in Manchester, England, with his family.

When not writing, Jonathan is a Biblical Studies tutor at an ecumenical theological college, helping to prepare ministers to lead churches. His doctoral research involved (amongst other areas) working with papyri texts, and studying at the John Rylands Library in Manchester; both elements appear in his first book, The Magdalene Secret.

Previous roles include being a vicar and a marketing manager for a major multinational company.

He enjoys films, reading and photography. The family’s rabbits keep him busy as they munch their way through the garden’s flowers.

He never says no to biscuits.
